it wasnt a racial attack, I never said a mexican domiciled truck was directly involved, I was speaking of current, worrisome concerns about our industry and issues that are certainly going to be brought up out of this. No one said there was anything directly related to hos either, but that didnt bother you? man, bring up the word mexican and people freak. forgive me

P.S. 10 o'clock news confirms a third dead RIP, mine and my families prayers are with everyone involved. especially families that have lost a member, MEXICAN or OTHERWISE

Oh yeah, and I know about the demographics of the area, I pass through there 2 times a week minimum. Decided to take the 395 through the desert to get the truck washed and pass through the house though. where it rained anyway.

That tunnel (which I have run many times) always scares the crap outta me. Its narrow, dark and with the aforementioned blind curve extremely dangerous. I'm sure someone was being stupid and going too fast.

The local news is now reporting that one of the deceased is a child, found in a rig, with a (now deceased) adult male.:biggrin_25513:

As a newbie, I remember my first trip though there. I was thinking WTH!!! This is safer than the regular interstate? IMHO.. very HO since I am such a newbie.. I don't believe that any regular passenger vehicle has any business being down there. I really feel for everyone involved

well, I was in the office on Saturday morning, and the pics came up on our yahoo newsgroup on the InfoLane page. Said something about the slick roads caused the first truck to wreck and the others just slammed into it...

Our thoughts and Prayers go out to the families of the drivers involved.
