Well day two is in the books. We learned somehours of service and filled in some log book stuff. A few of us were "on crack" as Bill said. But we all got it straight by the end of the day. we have no idea if we will be on elogs or not but I think we all got it figured out if we do paper logs.
Next we had to figure out how to read maps which was frustrating since some of the towns werent listed in the back of the atlas. Finally figured it out but bill said I took one route about 100 miles out of the way. Lol.
Met mojo and saw curtis and Bill was like "#### mike do you know everyone?".
Well tomorrow it is the millis 500 and chicken wednesday. Which bill has been talking about since monday lol.

Okay where was I ? Oh yeah. I had a little problem at first with not letting the clutch out before reving the engine to downshift. But I got it shortly after that. I will tell you I do not like the freightliners they have there. One had almost no clutch pedal and the other one kept popping out of 3rd gear. I did however like the kenworth. I got the hang of that one really fast. Everyone was just cruising around trenton by the end of the day. I have to admit I did miss 5th gear a couple times and went to 7th. It does make it a little hard with all the pot holes around there lol. Tomorrow it is back to maps and stuff so I will update you all tomorrow. For the new guys that havent been to class yet feel free to ask questions about anything so far .

Day 4 in the books. Today we learned about coupling with trailers abd using communication while driving. Bill told us some driver stories. Watched a few videos and got to go home early. But someone had the van so we sat there and waited. Around 4 the van shows back up and we go to leave and a train is stopped on the tracks so we have to go a different route. But we eventually got back to the hotel. Tomorrow we gotta get up early because class starts at 6 instead of 730. We get to learn about pretrip and backing with a trailer. Should be fun times. Talk to you all tomorrow

Sure am. The guys in this class are all great. We crack eachother up. Definitely going to get their numbers so we can keep in touch

Thats great, even though we all have our own trucks i still talk to everyone in my class, share our "learning experiences" and help each other out . A couple of us talk almost daily. Add that to the more expierienced guys we talk to and the job is a little better
