Thats what I'm talking about, That right there is why I left and I was doing those as a trainer, and before Jack@@@ & Jill jumps on me, go talk to Jason Martinez or Jeremy Everett and they will tell you how often I went home( not very) and what kind of driver I was.

But hey I do love competition. But in all fun I think we can let the viewers decide. I'll put up my paid miles and appt times, and you can put your paid miles an appt times, and we since we are now going to weekly pay. We can have bragging rights for that week or something. Whatever you guys decide its all fun. I'd give you both the shirt off my back if I had 2, and if you were in my city. I wouldn't hesitate to invite you over for dinner or lunch. Its just who I am.

I don't use my jack Tennessee man. I go by the old time lesson. Take it slow and don't be in a hurry. Not a mountain I haven't come down that had me " warm up" the brakes.
Also Harley from the posts I have read on here I don't think you are a complainer just wanting to complain. Who would be happy with 1700 miles a week. Now I think Jack is on here to mess with anyone who posts about JBS when he only came to this site to quit working for them. But still he is happy and he cant read his statements right to know if they are not paying him right. Just FYI the statement is your last pay check not the one you are working on now. The statement is updated after they have paid you. So if you are still on the 2 weeks pay period then 3400 miles for that time is not good. That is about 1700 miles a week. I also can see from these post that Harley works hard and doesn't slack off so why wouldn't JBS use him to THEIR full advantage?harleymanjax Thanks this. -

Thats all so far I deliver Tomah WI monday no pp so far. Pay period ends Wednesday nite at midnight. -
I think most drivers getting 1700 miles a week would be ######## up a storm!.........Honestly I dont need and dont expect 3500 miles a week!..(thanks to the DAC lawsuit money, I am now debt free!......lol)
I realize living in Florida and going home costs miles, so I would never complain about not getting 3500 miles a week, I'm just saying 1700 is a bit on the low side!
THERE IS NO LEGITIMATE REASON WHY I CANT AVG AT LEAST 2000 MILES A WEEK!.......NO EXCUSE FOR IT!
Perfect example I was available for dispatch yesterday at noon, I am in Omaha....in the middle of Marshalltown, Grand Island, and Worthington!.......I have a load out of Worthington that picks up tomorrow afternoon and delivers in Alexandria KY Tuesday afternoon!...........FIVE DAYS FOR 976 PAID MILES!
Luckily it delivers before the wed payroll cutoff and I had a good load that delivered Friday so my first WEEKLY check will have 2224 miles on it!.......my first WEEKLY check will be bigger than some of my BI-WEEKLY checks have been!...........lolJarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Last nine pay checks
2/23-2456 miles
3/01-2587 miles
3/08-2203 miles
3/15-959 miles home time for 4 days
3/22-3016 miles
3/29-1825 miles
4/05-3463 miles
4/12-1506 miles
4/19-3511 miles
21526 miles for 9 weeks. That's an average of 2391.77 miles a week. Want me to add in the rest of February and January? Just goes to show that I do the same loads as JBS and get more miles then JBS. If you like Jack post your last 9 weeks see where they stack up to. -
My wife doesn't save the settlement sheets with the millage. So I'll give gross pay for those weeks.
2/17-$2307-taxes etc
3/2-$2881
3/16-$1966
3/30 $3079
4/13 $2493
4/27 $2996 includes the 1700 for vacation pay.
For those who don't know JBS pays you vacation on what you avg per week so guess I grossed 1700 a week on avg I don't know. Just what they paid me.
I never have kept up with millage per week since we get paid bi weekly, but as I said I average 2500 miles a week except on weeks I go home. I normally stay out 4 weeks and spend 3 or 4 days at home and back at it. Not trying to lead anyone astray trying to give them what you can expect to make if you are the average nobody driver who doesn't know everybody in the office. I been here 2 years and don't even know who the safety guy they are always talking about is. They say he's fat, but so are most people in the office. So I might have seen him, but I wouldn't be able to point him out by name. Been to the safety office 3 times since the new building, and only dealt with people in the first 3 seats, and don't know their names. Anyway time to get my walk on. You guys have a great week. -
How can you know your average miles per week if you don't keep track of your miles? Now you said I was telling a " trucker start " when I was talking about my miles. I showed you proof. Where is yours or are you the one with the story to tell?
-
I'm no rocket scientist but if you take 2500 x .40=1000
You can divide those gross pay's by 2 and you can probably get the avg. Not saying all of that is mileage. But you probably can get the point most weeks are at 2500.
I have nothing to gain or lose. No reason to lie. No need for trucker stories. This is why I said we can post where we are going and our paid miles. Like I said. I care less about miles I just care about what I bring home. I may do a NYC load with 2 much time but it pays150 extra so it makes up for the miles. But from now on I will post my trips and you can add them up if you want 2.
This is why I said I get 2500 you avg about 2500. So taking a cut in pay to get the same miles to me. Doesn't add up. Yeah I can drive around in a pretty truck, but my bill collectors don't take photo's for payment. I'm sure you wasn't getting the 2500 so that's why you left. -
I don't work for jbs but it seems to me from reading Harley and jack& Jill's posts that they BOTH are capable of running a lot harder than they are being run.
Hope it turns around for both of you.....
