A contractor with two lease trucks out of Houston posted this thread looking for a driver:
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...uston-flatbed-driver-for-oilfield-wanted.html
Maybe you can PM him for some info if he doesn't see your thread here.
I used to run into them at a lot of the South LA energy docks from Cameron around to Venice - Freshwater, MC, Fourchon, Cocodrie, Lafitte, etc. They used to get a lot of work between docks and would often reload the same place they unloaded. That's been a while, but I expect they still have a heavy presence down there.

Used to be a stand up outfit,
anybody have any updates ????? -
Attention....before you decide to work for this company or any other company you need to look at their safety record on fmcsa. Remember the laws have changed now. A company safety record follows every driver, and could possibly prevent a driver from working for another company.......Acme safety is not good just so you know... 54 deaths/injuries. 50% alcohol or substance. You can find this online.....

As am I. I have noticed a decline in driver quality since the oil boom in texas. I am by no means a super trucker, but I've worked here before. This second time around, I've noticed the change in drivers from 5 years ago. I guess the same can be said about other outfits as well. Just my two cents.

the safety record is this line of work does tend to be worse tham OTR
