on 78 theT/A at the 7 in bloomsbury, nj, especially now that it's free parking......the pilot up the road at the 12 as well......what a cluster both places trying to get in or out once the spots start filling up....even just to fuel.......god forbid you have to park at either.....and never been in either that they weren't but maybe just the times of day i've ever been to both other times of day they may be real friendly
the one at the 66 on 287 as mentioned above won't ever try to get in there again either......lol...some places you just have to plan to drive around and not park at
i'm sure i could come up with at least 10 more lol but those are the ones just off the top of my head

Flying J Lodi CA on the 5. If your not really good a backing don't even attempt to find a spot past 2 pm.

Only night I ever stopped in Bloomsbury at the TA I saw a Navajo driver take out the hood of a truck trying to blindside one of those tight spots by the building. The police were called. And I guess was told to park his truck to unblock the exit lane and managed to take out a hood of a PAM truck.
Two hoods in one night, that must have set their safety manager's hair on fire.
As for tight parking, I say almost any Pilot. I never stop at them unless I absolutely have to. Since I don't fuel at them, I really don't have a need.flyingmusician Thanks this. -
I had no choice but stop there last thursday night coming out of newark and knew what it would be like before i even got there.....and consistency reigned lol......shortly after dark after it was full and the conga line was circling like sharks waiting to pounce on the first spot that came open, a loud boom comes from across the lot.....i didn't get up to see but could hear on the radio somebody had nailed somebody else and gummed up the back row for the rest of the night......that place is awful......i run that route alot and try to plan my trips so that i never run out of hours until i get into pa and the trexler or bandit are much better choices if time is short......but this time had no choice......and it didn't disappoint.....it was a pain from the time i got in until i had to leave.....if you're on the side row by the exit, making that right turn out of the row through the exit past the former gaurd house/pay window is a ##### too lol

I agree....if I can work it to not even stop in NJ, I'll do it....even if it means getting up at some awful hour the next morning.
Hey...how about the J there by Kansas City? Not real small, but almost always a cluck of a fustering kind. -
I drive at night so parking usually isn't a big deal, but if I have to park at night I try to go to a rest area.

Day or night

The Pilot in N. Little Rock, AR looks pretty bad too.
-
The Flying J north of Winchester, VA at exit 323. That place turned into a clusterf*** after 8pm. Took me 20 min to get out of that place in the morning.
The Pilot in Denver. Need I say more? I had to blindside into an end spot just to get the hell out of there!
Flying J in Dallas. You might get lucky enough to get a spot but not lucky enough to make it to the building and back without getting hustled. -
66 is Mahwa, NJ and there is NO overnight parking allow/no showers either
American Truckerdirtyjerz Thanks this.
