No inverters what that's messed up we were told at orientation we can have them I'll just hide mine when I go into the shop even though they'll see my tv has a ac plug and my Xbox
I live in a truck no way I would ever get rid of my inverters I've never seen a policy on it and even if I did would not care I would still keep it -
I have a 12V cooler, and I have an inverter - and I am a company driver.
I have also been to many shops, without hiding said inverter.
Never anything said, or done.
They do rag on me about things like idle time, and load turn down rates though.
Idle time? Well, I spend much of my time in the upper half. When I am at or below 20 degrees I idle. I also idle when my battery runs low.
So, fire me.
Load turn down rates?
If I say no to a load and adjust the times, then the system accepts those times because they are within the customers time window and I accept the load - it still counts as a turn down.
How is that fair? Or, even accurate?
Yes. We live in a truck.
But they treat us like a slave, all the same.
I am expected to keep below 18% idle time, in the middle of winter when most of my time has been spent in sub 30 degree temps.
And in the summer it is the same.
They say keep comphy and be safe - but don't idle more than 18-20% to do so.
Anyone ever calculate the actual times involved when you are trying to sleep in hot or cold conditions? -

there is a bunch of posts, I did one about my orientation in denver, and it should be basically the same everywhere.
I enjoy not having def in my volvo, cause I hate most of the terminals with a passion, if its your final stop you shouldnt be having the heart rate rise cause its cramped tighter then a fish's butthole.
And heres a plan swift, instead of being douche's about the inverters, why not install them for people who dont need them for medical reasons, its our home out their, and we would sorta like to occasionally watch tv, or fire a laptop up, camping is great, but even their some people bring gennie's if they are gonna be their for awhile, so why not install them for us, we bring it in, you put it in so it satisfies all warranty requirements and we are all happier
