    you're in Elkhart, that country stone in Waterloo, IN is paying decent money occasionally.. they sell a lot to Lowes. I'm sure you've hauled out of there before, right?

    I'm actually in Westville, IN but have not ran a van trailer in 4 years. When I did I never left the Chicago area if I could help it. Short haul freight always paid me as much at the end of the week as the OTR stuff. I ran reefers for WalMart back in 2003 and those Bayer loads were back in 2008 with Landstar before I went over to tanker.

    Hell, these past 2 weeks I've been trying to stay OUT of chicago.. not much freight these days compared to 3-4 weeks ago. It will pick up again soon.
    So you're doing tanker now? how's that going for ya?

    LoL, now I'm pulling a flatbed with Landstar.....long story.

    But things are really good over here. And I'm trying to get BACK to Chicago because rates are extremely well in the are for us skateboards right now.

    I run a lot of steel beams and plate steel. Lately I have been doing OS stuff trying to keep that Rate per up and my miles down. Working good so far :)
