    Hey everyone,

I have been looking for information about Scotlynn Longhorn regarding their lease program. Just want to hear any feedback, good or bad, as I am considering the lease purchase / owner operator program.

    Thanks,
    Ed

Dont lease from who you work for, get a loan from bank and buy truck or lease from paclease or ryder or penske then go work for a carrier and you can quit and take truck with you if they are not giving you enough work

I knew a Ontario resident who leased on as an O/O with them. Ran him good , $ was decent and he enjoyed working there.

His PETE was getting a bit old ( 1997 or 98 ) they were pushing for him to UPGRADE ( they have a PETE dealership or tyed in with one ) or to lease.

He crunched thew #s and the LEASE was doeable and not totally 1 sided but he was getting tired of being away all the time. Runs sort of regional with a small outfit , old PETE is still doing its job.

The use to be a Trucking Outfit in the Niagara to Hamilton area , owner was known as Fat Eddie:biggrin_25524:

Theyre a good operation, ive done business with them for 10 years and have never ever had a single problem.
They arent the type to design a lease purchase program to screw over thier employees.
