3406B running out of fuel

Pulled the transfer pump off. A piece of plastic was restricting the inlet line. Put it back together runs great!! I'm the worlds worst about sticking my finger in the whole on the fuel filter to break the plastic. Looks like I caused it!! Thank u for all of the input.
