Looking for some info/advise. I'm looking at buying a new all aluminum trailer and they are all 36-40k range. I'm looking at flats mainly its what I have now and considering a step. I have a combo Fontaine right now and looking hard at their new all aluminum. I see everyone pulling Reitnouers though. I need something light. How about some help from yall that own these.

We have (9) Benson 524s. Very nice trailer so far, all we've done is put new tires on them besides for preventative maintenance. Had them since 2009 w/ no issues. Weighs less than #9,000.
Talk to SHC to see how he like his new Fontaine Revolution flat. The Great 1 Thanks this. -
Oh boy! Now you went and did it.

I have had good luck with the Reitnouers I have had. Got two new ones on order. A BiggerBubba and a BigBubba.

Can't afford the price tag on a new trailer so I'm buying a used Reitnouers step. Did a lot of research and they seem to have the highest long-term satisfaction. And hold value because of it.
Mommas_money_maker and The Great 1 Thank this. -
I love this Revolution 52 I have. It's under 8,500# which helps keep the weight down if you have a heavy truck like I do. The one piece side rail makes a HUGE difference when securing things also as it will not bend or dent. This one has the self inflation system for the tires as well. The in-floor securement is nice I've heard but I have yet to buy the equipment for it. It has a nice strap setup where it locks into the underside of the rail so u don't have to worry about them coming loose as you tighten them. The only thing I wish it had was a lift axle to help when deadheading but other than that I really like it.
The Great 1 and BigBadBill Thank this. -
