It is perfectly legal. It is even specically
mentioned in the u.s ins regulations. You still can't violate the cabotoge laws though. One -
Unless they have regular freight in and out of Canada I'd stay away. They will without a doubt ask you to interstate, and you'd probably get away with it for a while .. but when you get caught you will be in a huge world of hurt. They WILL catch you eventually.

If they are a US based company, your Canadian license is good here.
The only thing I can think of is you might need a temporary work visa since you are not a US citizen. -
at my company i have met two gentlemen both native Americans who can pick up and deliver in both Canada and the us
-
That is OK, as long as you load back over the boarder U R good. A US citizen can't P/U and Deliver in Canada and vice versa for the Canadians. it is called Cabotage.
-
i hear of canadians and americans picking up and delivering across the border all the time.
i even met one canadian that picks up and delivers to las vegas. and then takes a load back to canada. dedicated run. -
so if i understand if i am a canadian driver i can drive from canada to miami fl and then i could pick up a load in miami and bring it back to canada with no problems..
oh ya all this is driving in a american base carrier truck..
