    ok i havea2006 t-2000. its showing in this order engine sid 146 ?response. ok kenworth said it is a bad egr or wiring and the codes i have found say this 146 Engine Coolant Temperature - Data Valid but Above Normal Operational Range - Moderately Severe Level..the motor is a isx 400

    If is running rough and smoking then yes, EGR motor. If its running fine then it could be the EGR differential pressure sensor on the left side of the engine, mounted on the block. 146 is not a specific code, just an EGR fault. Sensor=$100.00. EGR motor= $1200.00.

    Just so you know, I dealer can tell the differance in codes. Diagnostics will either say EGR mechanical fault, meaning the motor. Or EGR differential pressure fault, meaning the sensor. Don't let anyone talk you into replacing the pipes or hoses as an upgrade to see if it works. It never is the problem and just a waste of YOUR money.

    trk is not running rough or anything. i will not and cant not afford to do stuff like that just need it fixxed. thx
