Actually, it looks like USXpress won't pick me up, so we are trynig Covenant now. I had a license suspension on my record, and it was suspended for over 6 months, so USXpress doesn't want me. :biggrin_25513:
So, here we go again, with another company! But, we had wanted Covenant originally anyway, so let's hope this is it!:biggrin_25526:

I just applied with May Trucking, anything there? I am really having a hard time staying calm, and not worrying that I wasted all the effort and time and money for this and won't get a job now! Anyway, wish me luck! I seem to need it!

    Well, it's finally official.
Today I had my physical and drug test.
    Orientation is tonight.
I am taking the 4 week/8 hours daily version to get this over with faster.
I want to get a tee shirt that says, "I survived Jaime Perez.":biggrin_255:

    Thanks.
I'll just have to look wherever I can once I get the CDL.
I have trucker friends, so I will start with them.
    I'll take whatever I can get....to a point.
    I need a paycheck.

Well since you're gonna be getting out right as the season starts you could look into the seasonal jobs, that is, if you're looking to stay local. Antonini will hire you right out of school and the tomato harvest will be starting some time in June. Tiger Lines might hire you too for the same kind of stuff. Just start putting in applications as soon as you have your CDL. PM me your email address and I'll send you the list of companies I have.

It looks like I'm going to be hauling fruits/nuts/veggies starting in the next month or so. 6-7 days a week, kinda long hours, but home every night, decent pay and solid work thru November.
