Comfort Master APU: Check oil switch?

Since there was no reply, I coughed up the dough and ordered a replacement CPU and ECM. Would rather have rewired the darn thing.

 

So how much did they get you for?

 

550 bones + shipping.

 

Lets hope that's all you'll need. Who was you able to get these from? Last I heard, Comfort Master would only sell parts to the orginal owner.

 

The guy on ebay... I think he bought out the rest of their inventory and is making a pretty handsome profit. Got the CPU replaced today. Tomorrow the keypad and software update. Fingers crossed (toes too).

 

What happened with the software update and everything?Does it work now?

 

Everything seems to be working like it should... EXCEPT I've got an oil leak. Going to take the side panel off and see if it's the oil filter relocation kit that is prone to leaking. If that's the culprit, I may scrap that setup and go with the factory filter location. When I got this motor, it had a much smaller filter on it though.

 

While you're in there double check that positive cable from the back. I found mine to be rubbing on the rear bracket and would've worn through the insulation. Not good!

Pull your right side panel and look...

 

When I replaced the ECU, I checked those over. Positive and negative. Cleaned the contacts with some emery cloth, some dielectric grease and reconnected.
