Hey friends I have a problem with my charge air cooler. I had a bolt from my hood wear a dime size hole in it. I have an fld 120 and I was wondering if I could use jb weld or something else to seal it up

Generaly the pressure is going to top out at 30psi. JB weld should be able to hold that. If you have a weekend off and can let the weld sit for 48 hours I see no reason in not trying this method, save yourself some money.

Buy the JB Weld that comes in the putty stick. It is the best thing ever!! It will seal up as hard as steel and should hold just fine. I've used it on tons of things.

Make sure you test that CAC afterword to make ensure it isn't leaking somewhere else as well.
