    Just do it. While I have only driven a 4 wheeler in NJ and NYC, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. I'm looking forward to taking those NYC runs that others reject.

    I didn't think you could go into NYC with one of our trucks because they're too long... I might be wrong on that. Although I've never talked to another driver that's been to NYC in a May truck.

    I have been to New York state and went to southern New Jersey once but never been sent into NYC.

    Ask your DM why that other driver is averaging 3000 miles a week.I think talking to your dispatcher about issues you have is worthless.Oh they may make some changes but its never im your favor.Alot of the fault for low miles is the planners but dispatchers do have some pull.They could talk to the planners or even their boss.If I was a dispatcher I would do everything in my power to take care of my drivers.

    Pattyj I don't think those salary employees care unless its pay based on our performance. If that was the case we would be rolling hard.

    I hope so! Otherwise i'm only going to have 1400 miles for this week!!

    I screwed up and didn't get my pta sent in until too late in the day and the DM and Logistics had already gone home. Luckily I needed to shut down here at Brooks overnight anyways for my 10 hr reset. I'm only 2.5 hours from my drop, and it's not due until Monday so once they get in here tomorrow I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    Well I just got the word. Nothing else for me to take other than a couple loads going down to San Fran which would end up with less miles and the same del times as the one I have now. So it looks like I'm going to sit here at Brooks until tomorrow am.... This week's check is gonna SUCK....:biggrin_25510:
