I think there are showers at many truck stops. At least that's what I've heard. If you HAVE to have bath, maybe a small inflateable kiddy pool! :biggrin_25523:

Take it in to the shower. Keep your Walmart bags and store them in your shower backpack. Use some of those bags to transport dirty cookware.

Do you guys use the small TS slow cookers or actually household ones with an inverter?

When you hear a story about some loon who pees clean but is found with an inflatable kiddie pool in the truck, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I'm also thinking of adding a vuvuzela to drive off unwanted visitors.

Maybe a kilt and some bunny ears, too.

I use a two quart Road Pro that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Anything bigger than a three quart will deginitely leave you with left overs, so you'll want to have a cooler and some storage containers to store food in. A Food Saver vacuum packer is an awesome tool to use if you have down time.

Pete's right, but you can eat healthier with a little prep time. If you run solo, you have plenty of time, if you run team, talk to your team mate and try to help each other by dividing the work that goes into making food. It will save money, and you will eat better.

My team mate is a diabetic, so I have to keep that in mind, but he loves the fact that I cook. The trade off is that he washes the dishes, but meals and snacks are in easy reach. Usually, people reach for junk food only because it's convenient and ready to eat. You can do that with food that's good for you too! Some people just need suggestions and ideas.

If you're driving for a carrier that doesn't treat you like a truck slave, you'll have an APU with a decently sized inverter. Real appliances work much better than the cheap 12V junk sold in truckstops.
