Another ACT L/O

Well since so many people seem to think no one knows how much we make and want to see someone without any recruiting bonuses on their pay here it is. First few weeks I didn't have hazmat so my pay loaded was .94 now it is 1.00. I hope I can copy and paste this all here so I don't have to type it all out. Top part of each week is my loads, miles and gross revenue bottom part of that week is the deductions, fuel and any reimbursements. The only info I am removing is the load numbers because I don't want or need to post it and my name. Note on these first two weeks there is my first portions of my sign on bonus which is $1000. First week $500 second week $250 and the final part I believe at 90 days.

04-13-12 This week I took off from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. Didn't plan it that way but I had to be home on Friday and Monday so when they got me home early I had to ride it out. I tried to put my first fuel up of this week on the prior check but learned the hard way fuel is tied to the load's delivery date not the actual cutoff time which is Monday at midnight. So I ended up negative $176

Once again this is the follow up to taking the days off. Like I said before I tried to even out my checks with my fuel purchases but failed miserably. So when I got home I left myself short on fuel so this paycheck I had the fuel when I came off home time and at the end of the week I found a really good deal on fuel so rather then get what I need I filled up leaving me a shorter check.

So in six weeks I made $5665.47 after all expenses, took 6 straight days off, and have been home an average of once a week. So even if you look at my time off and how bad that messed up my pay I still averaged $944.24 a week. Next time I'm home I'll average up my paychecks from my previous employer for the first 3 months of this year and show the break down on those for a even comparison.

 

Well I sent MNdriver access to my settlement account maybe he can make it easier on the eyes and repost it then talk me through it. lol I won't sit here and tell you that you can drive 75 miles an hour be home 3 days a week and make a living that just isn't gonna happen. What I will tell you if you watch your speed keep your fuel mileage up and treat yourself like a company driver 1 day home for every week out maybe a little more then that but otherwise its all good. I'm not like the guys shooting for 8mpg's although I would love to get it reality is I average mid 7's and I drive according to the load. When I get lucky like this last load I take advantage of it. this was a 550 mile run with 6k in the box and I had a tail wind. I ran 60 mph and I got 9.1 mpg for it. The previous week on the qualcomm I got 7.5 mpg had a good mix of light and heavy loads. Looks like my next load is gonna be a heavy one so I'm sure I'll drop back to the low 7's. Had to take a 34 so I took a shorter load friday that didn't deliver until monday am here in St. Joe, Mo. Pick up right after I deliver here in same city and goes to Geneva, IL for Tuesday.
