I loved Snowqualmie coming into Seattle. Where else can you have 5 types of moisture in 4 miles.

I am going back a number of years but I as a Driver in the Army in Germany in the 80's (That avatar was my rig) and we had drivers from all over... One I remember well, Billy came from Mississippi and had never seen snow prior to coming over there. He and all the other drivers adapted with very little problems... as others said, go slow.
Billy followed me through the Bavarian Alps one time in February with no problems at all and he had only been driving three or four months at that time. Keep in mind we were 18 & 19 years old and each had 6 Hawk missiles on a skateboard!
Respect the weather, respect the road conditions, and you'll be fine.jmthomas Thanks this. -
I have driven 3 sisters and cabbage and a lot others out that way----in nice weather! Lost my gears on 9 mile the first time I went down that one. Pucker effect big time!

Ya that's a good point. I think jumping in a tackling the challenge is going to provide the best learning experience! I'm really appreciative of all the feedback and in depth responses! Hearing others experiences and recommendations is really insightful. This forum is a GREAT resource!

That sounds like a really cool haul. Hawk missiles on a skateboard. Now that's what I'm talking about!
