Figured I'd start a thread about my Millis experience as well, we can never have to many lol. First off as some of you know I have been researching companies for a LONG time now and Millis was definitely on the top of my list for many reasons. I applied last Thursday morning and got a call from Alice today confirming I had been accepted. I currently work in a factory from 11p-7a, We are WAY over micro-managed there and its time for me to move on. I have contacted my landlord about breaking my lease and she was very cool with it, I just have to give a 60 day notice. I do not have a start date yet because I'm not starting until the end of June or the beginning of July BUT I will be there. I am so excited I cannot wait to get behind the wheel. This thread will probably be slow going, at first but once the time gets closer I will try to post every day. Thank you to Baritone and some other key people in the Millis thread for making my mind up on what company to choose.
NOOB Just got confirmation from Alice!

Are you going to be in the Millis Truck? Maybe we could meet up for a few minutes I would be interested in seeing one in person.

I think Alice is great. She got back with me in a timely manner when I had questions and deifinitely did not take that "hurry up and lets get you here tomorrow" mentality. I was allowed time to look things over and make decision on when I WAS READY to do something. She doesn't burn my phone and computer up on a daily basis. I like that.

Yeah I have not talked to her a whole bunch but from what I did talk to her she was great. I am very happy I chose Millis and they chose me. Its all the small things that make a huge difference, the other two on my list were Prime and Stevens. I am pretty confident that Millis is light years ahead of both of them companies

Sorry no, I wont be in a Millis truck. Dang, I have spent a couple of nights in the Walmart parking lot in the last few months.

I just talked to Alice again, I am starting much sooner than I thought, June 11th, so I need to get my butt in gear and get my DOT physical and my permit. I also have to work 7 days a week from here on out until I quit plus find time to move all my crap out of my current apartment into storage (going to stay at mom n dads while I'm on hometime)

OH Plus getting all four of my wisdom teeth pulled before I start, ugh.
