There has been a few QUEBEC TRUCKER blockades in parts of that province , outcome was the same NOTHING happens.

The TV crews always interview the Big Slobby Guy polishing the CHROME & STAINLESS on his BRAND NEW TRUCK while :biggrin_2553: about making no $.

If it were to come to a strike or shutdown we would have to be united and that will never happen.

Yes but for every truck parked wanting $2.00 / mile freight , there is 24 of them willing to do it for $1.18 / mile as most have no clue on running a truck and the CPM it takes to run the truck.

Blockades and highway slowdowns do nothing to boost support from the general public , it just IRKS them.

Be like a convoy of Muscle Cars protesting HIGH $ for GAS, everyone would look at the Nice Cars and go well if you GOT $ for that then you GOT $ for GAS.

It needs to be a SHUTDOWN , trucks parked in the yards not on the highways , and EVERYONE stops not the BOTTOM DWELLERS thinking its a CHANCE to make a QUICK $1.00.

Protests solve nothing for 2 reasons....

    I) NO solidarity with drivers

II) General public couldn't give a rats ##### unless it effects prices at Tim Hortons or alters the business hours at Walmart!

Two occupations that the masses don't care or reflect on is trucking and farming and I do both....stupid me.
