Hey look everyone..... can we not turn this thread into another JCT p****** match? It would be real kewl if we could just read about his runs, get an idea on mileage and expenses, and get a good full picture of JCT without all of the e-bashing. ACT looks good too. What is kewl is that I can GO TO THE ACT THREAD and read all about them, rather than getting little tidbits in a JCT thread. Just sayin.....

 

I'll bet I could find a guy around here in Charlotte to do up a couple different designs just to see. I'll see if I can get a couple done and send you pics!

 

I'm going to respond to your trolling only once, and if you keep going on and on, I will put you on ignore. The ONLY reason I'm responding is so that potential JCT drivers don't read your threads as some type of authority...because face it...your nothing more than a troll and you know it.

The JCT yard is not full of empty trucks...unless you are counting the trucks that are there because the driver is on home time, getting maintenance done, etc. You are a very ignorant person if you think you know more about JCT than me or anybody else that drives for JCT. As a matter of fact, you have no freaking clue what goes on at JCT other than what you read on the internet.

Would you like a cookie?? Our fsc this week is $.47/mi loaded and empty. Couple that with our $.11/gal discount at Pilot/Flying J, and we do just fine. 95% of our loads are drop and hooks, so there is no need for detention pay. We also get $80.00 extra per drop. How much is ACT's? I'm sure it's somewhere around $300 per drop, but I figured I'd ask.

You might feel like you are on top of the world, but you're not. I can introduce you to a gentleman making $4.00/mi pulling oversize loads. His truck is paid for, and he has a limited amount of overhead. He nets around $125,000/year and is home almost every weekend. It makes your $1.46/mi loaded pay kinda measly.

In the end, trolls are going to troll and I will just end up putting you on ignore because you won't take the hint.

It's pretty bad when you don't even know what you make. Solos is .90 plus fsc and teams are .97 plus fsc. You are never detained huh? Wait til you go to Tyson. Stops may be $80 but you have to do like 7 before you start getting stop pay. Reason I know so much about JCT is I have recruited several to ACT. I will give you 60 days and you will be singing a different tune.
