Loving my job at JB Hunt Intermodal.

Working 5 days a week? If you dont mind,
what kind of $ are you taking home?
Is there co paid med, dental and vision?
How long before the Ins kicks in?
Do you start driving the sametime everyday?
I drove for USX for 6 yrs on dedicated runs, and they would send me msgs at night while I was sleeping! giving me loads on Satcom/qualcom and waking me up!
After taxes, and paying my part of Ins, med, vision and dental I was only bringing home $525 a week!!
Ive been driving for 6 yrs before I left 6/12/09
I was having to be out 8 weeks then off for 2 weeks or more!! on a Walmart run and had to sit all weekend in a truckstop!! all over the country!
We all should make at least $1000 a week. DOT can fine/ticket a brand new truck and or trailer for something!! And whether we realize it or not, its a very dangerous industry, I drove from Houston Tx last week, on I-10, 2 overturned big trucks and then 5 trucks being ticked till I got back to Alabama.

Insurance kicks in after 90 days. Take home pay really depends on location. Some locations get paid more than others.

 

catfish how close to atlanta do you have to live to drive intermodal for jbh??? i heard if u live more than 50mi away from atl its a no-go
