    I am about to buy a 06/07 Volvo (volvo engine) can anyone tell me if these engines are reliable?, i was told that they are a piece of crap, is it true? and also, can anyone recommend a bank where to get a loan for this purchase, thanks!

    Reliable..yes, but still the one I had (D12) was underpowered and got terrible fuel mileage. Go with the cummins. Banks do not like to make loans for trucks, have you already found the truck? If not Arrow sells Volvos and has pretty fair financing.

    Dont buy it the volvo engine is junk i had an 07 with that engine and it was in the shop more then on the road lost every injecter and it was under 400k miles on it egr keep going out and alot of other bs with it so sold it about yr ago
