Why are you thinking of running team?

running 20 hours a day ... living in close quarters = compatibility - I tried it twice both quit - one found all the flaws possible in 2 weeks time

you have to sleep while the truck is moving, you will stay busy cause a truck that moves 20+ hours a day makes the company more money. you will split the truck wage between you and your codriver (seems thats why husband and wife teams do so well money wise) you will live in the truck all the time and like dca said you have to get along with your co driver and trust them

    NavigatorWife Thanks this.

if i have to go on the road i wanna make the most money possible i know it will be cramped an tight but who cares ..i think i like the fact that if you run teams you can make almost 900 a week versus the 600 or low 500's just works betta for me

Biggest advantage goes to husband/wife teams.

All the money goes to one account. Which really adds up when you compare them to a couple where one drives and the other has a minimum wage job at home.

if i couldn't make 900 a week out here running solo i wouldnt be here

the 500 a week number is for fresh off the mentors truck it gets better if you work for it

I don't think team will make you considerably more money unless you're teaming with a wife or significant other. I don't think i could sleep with the truck bouncing down the bumpy roads. I have never tried it, but don't think i would like it. I guess you probably do get some longer runs, but you still split the money with team member, so not sure how much better that makes it.

I agree, if i can't make close to $1000/week solo i'd get a job at home driving local. I make at least that unless i'm off for home time or broke down.

someone correct me if im wrong please

but say you run 6000 miles a week and the truck makes 34 cpm which is $2,040 a week split that $1040 for each driver minus taxes and draws and such you can make that solo doesn't seem worth it to me cause the company is making more money not the drivers
