TV commercials for them? I don't think it's the same company you're referring to. Knight Trucking LLC, is a very small company based in Lebo, KS. They have end-dump and pneumatic. Knight Transportation is the big mega-carrier, I don't drive for them.

Knight Trucking is a good little company, family owned and operated. It has it's faults, but overall I think I'm very fortunate to be able to drive for them. They pay percentage of truck, not cpm. So we do a lot of driving for free. It's not uncommon to bounce 150+ miles empty. For example this past week I was hauling rock from a local quarry to a construction site 154 miles, then bouncing back for another load, then returning to the yard. That's 308 miles empty in a day. Some loads don't pay worth a darn, some do.

yes i was refering to Knight in Lebo, they use to (a year or so ago) have commercials all the time on channel 25 (the discovery channel?) The reason I remember I still have thier phone number wrote on my workbench in the shop for one of the commercials. Anyways I was just interested in what a local guy had to say about them.

If your first question is about the section at the bottom, all you need is where the load starts and where it finishes.

Your second question, I always have drawn a line straight down and top will say what I did i.e. loading, fuel, pti, bottom has city and state. Keep it simple. BTW if you have multiple stops in the same city, you can log it as one stop, meaning say you have 3 P/U's in jonestown totaling 1.5 hours, you can log it as 1.5 hrs in jones town instead of 1 stop 45 minutes, 2 stop 15 mins,3 stop 30 minutes.

So you mean I have to stop flagging a stop where I typically log it as "Sheet"? I was told you guys want to know everything... to keep us out of violation, or catch us in a 'sheeting' violation.... "Sheeting" IS a bodily function that we all must do from time to time. Heck, Tazz even thinks his "sheet' is golden and quite fragrant.

    Oh, sheet!
