Recruiter at prime told me about the permit. In fact, she said you have to show up with it or they will send you right back home. As far as learning the basics, im in the process of it. In fact, after I get my permit I will be behind the wheel of my step dads truck getting some pointers and what not. As I am sure this advice is also helpful for other people, so thank you.

 

I dont think I have enough straps for that... Might need to invest in some, also look OS... But I got the stuff for that. Need the permits though....

 

well said..i went with my permit and hadd all my simulator stuff done on monday before class even started on tuesday, there were about 35 in my class on tuesday and when they told us on friday to go get our id's there were 9 that went to get id's

there were a handful that had not cleared for medical, background checks and a few still did not have their permits yet..

my instructor and i left on tuesday and i already have about 20 hours of driving. and 2 hrs of that was going through the woods of ohio around a rollover lots of narrow roads and curves back to the interstate..

 

Probably needs a HazMat placard on the... back?
