Used to have Blue laws in Texas years ago. Ridiculous. Something I find strange is hard likker for sale at Wally World and grocery stores in some states.

WOW! I have actually never heard anyone try that answer before. I did have someone tell me that he did so because the water was unsafe to drink. Which could be plausible except the fact thats why beer was invented centuries later. Wine is fermented not boiled like beer. Bad water still makes bad wine. So if anyone wants to try that one why couldn't he just purify the water. Oh thats right because he probably just liked wine!!! Anyways enough of my rants we have already ran wild with this thread.DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

He was at a friend's wedding party, and they ran out of wine. He was being hospitable. The account doesn't say whether or not He partook of it, but it did say that people were asking the groom why he held out and served the cheap wine first.

Heck, these threads don't need to stay 'on topic', IMO.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
When you go to Church you go to learn about Jesus Christ. No need to worry about who's judging. Trusting in Jesus Christ and turning your life over to him is a personal decision. Whether your at Church or in your truck. You can except him as your personal savior. Romans 10:13 For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". When I called on Jesus I didn't worry about who might judge me. All I knew is that I needed him. Rich or poor, uneducated or educated, Jesus Christ will change your life!!

Agreed. I think the point most of us are trying to make is it isn't Christianity we dislike but some of the less than christian like wannabe's we dislike. It is not our place to judge one another for the normal day to day comings and goings of people. But for some reason a vast majority of (so called) christian individuals feel the need to judge and justify their choices by belittling others and forming opinions based on a limited amount of information on that person.

Sorry, but we as Christians are taught to love, respect, and help our neighbors, not judge them! If someone in the church is judging other people then it's them who needs to "freshen" up on what it truely means to be a Christian.
Lets face it, we ALL sin! The only thing I can do is try to be a better man and a better Christian tomorrow because as humans, we are not perfect.camaro68 Thanks this.
