Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the place? Bills say driver unload and sort. Im hoping they have a lumper service because I have 1400 cases non palletized. I have called receiver but its just a general mailbox.

    Helppppp

I delivered to Buntzl in Albuquerque, NM and they just yanked it off, no mess no fuss.

Got there back to the dock. 1hr later they unloaded me.

It went ok. 2 1/2 hour unload time. I expected that for 1400 hand unloaded cases.

    Also, $200 lumper fee

Was it a floor load? That is pretty good for lumpers around here, I live not far from were you unloaded.

Not a bad price, most places get you for more than that and you were lucky to find lumpers at that time of day.

I have delivered to there before but Bunzl was paying the freight bill so the lumpers were prepaid. If I recall correctly they are morning-only but I had no problems with them.

My loads came out of North Vernon, IN.

i have done Bunzl loads all over the eastern US.......from texas to NYC to iowa and i have never had to touch a load. some have lumpers and some do not. just be on time. if you are late, you can quite possibly be fined and have to wait until the next day to be unloaded.
