I had to wait for hometime to get mine but if you can get a good shipping cost go for it. I just ordered a portable bench from amazon. $100.

Proud to say that I am officially under 300 lbs again! First time I've been under that since shattering my ankles years ago. feeling great! not satisfied though, I'd really like to get back under 250, and down to my military weight of 225 eventually. Baby steps though...and looooots of cardio.

Cardio is waaaaay over rated. Not necessary in the least to lose fat fast. Proper eating, and a good weight training regime will do you more good in rapid fat loss, than long, boring cardio. -
Have you by chance read Body Rx by Scott Connelly? He mentions research which, according to him, supports the idea that there's little point adding cardio to an intense weight training regimen because the period immediately following a hard set of iron-pumping is aerobic, anyway. It is impossible to cross the anaerobic threshold, and then drop below it, without spending significant time in the aerobic zone.

By the way, for a genetically skinny guy who wants to pack on muscle, I suspect trucking could be a very suitable career. The best thing for someone in that position to do is lift heavy weights judiciously, eat huge, protein-rich meals, and when not training, do the absolute minimum of strenuous exercise that he can get away with.

Main reason why I do cardio (jogging) so much is that I like running. I enjoyed running when I was in high school years ago, figured now that my knees and ankles are healed up I can try to get back into that shape again and be able to run miles on end.
