Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

Go Bucks!!!!!! Im looking into Maverick to start my profesional driving career, im impressed with what ive read about the company, im looking at refer. Im from Columbus Oh and my family basically from Westerville (Manerva Park) anyway be safe out there JimTheHut and again Go Bucks!!!!!!!!

 

Yes they did when I filled out the card for them in orientation. My trainer should be by here tomorrow. Done for today. Going to relax and copy over my notes. After talking with him last nite he sounds like someone that teach me what I need to know so I can use what I've learned and be successful in this business. Probably going to be another 5 weeks before I get home. Funny thing is my wife said stay out and get the training you need to he safe and succeed. With her taking care of home and that attitude is half the battle , the rest is on me. Thanks everyone. It means a lot to be a Maverick. It feels good. Ya'll have a good day.

Jim, if you could give 1 piece of advice to anyone starting out new in the flatbed trucking business, what would it be?

 

Would it be wise to keep a log of the places you deliver and pick up from that includes things such as gates to use, procedures they require, etc, that way you have some sort of reference when you go there the next time?

 

Do you have a GPS and if so does it usually give the correct directions?
