Eastern or Western style? They're quite different.
When I lived in eastern NC, there were a couple of places trucks could easily park at, but those are over off the 301 and US 70 areas. -
All over, I go to the High Point area quite a bit. As far as style, I didn't know there was a difference. I spent my childhood in eastern NC so I guess eastern.

I lived in Wayne county for 14 years in the 80s and 90s.
Up on 301 in the Wilson area (though that's in Wilson county), there's Bills. Big truck lot, easy access. Good food when last I was there.
Down east further in Goldsboro, you've got Wilbur's, which has been around forever, and is very good. Not real sure about truck parking there, though, as it's been some years since I've passed through there.
Just east and across the highway from Wilbur's is McCalls. Pretty decent as well.troy0950 Thanks this. -
I think Gardner's in Rocky Mount off 301 has truck parking around back. Good buffet!!!! Eat there all the time (driving a 4 wheeler).

What is the difference between eastern and western?
-
Eastern Carolina sauce is more vinegar based, with hot peppers, usually pulled pork. Western Carolina has tomatoes added, less vinegar.
