Are you embarassed to be a truck driver

I don't care what ppl think.l'm not out to please them.l think it's more the person then trk driving in general.Have you seen the way some of these drivers look.I have always got respect from the public and trucking companies.

Do you think being a trk driver is the bottom of the barrel job? No its not , the sleaze ball pimping out his 18 year old GF or selling his little bags of white powder is more at the bottom of the barrel.

 

For real... guys with tattoos on their necks and everywhere else or 100lbs+lbs overweight Dirty looking slobs. Wouldnt say im embarassed but sure as hell dont want to be lumped in with that bunch. Some sorry looking jokers out here. Guys that you can tell havent showered in days and im not talking a few days. Big holes in t-shirts I bumped in to a bunch of slobs in Loves el paso this weekend guys giving the loves cashier a hard time.Alot of low class mofos imo sorry for the rant been drinking and im posting what I see.

 

Wonder what folks think of me. My wife cringes. Often making me change before we leave the house LOL.

I'm just libel to step out of the truck wearing dress slacks, tennis shoes, and a old t-shirt.

I refuse to wear blue jeans. And hate dress
shirts.

I was wearing a shirt the other day in doctors office. Pharma rep commented he liked it. I told him my wife hated it. He responded, that must be why I like it LOL

Nope I'm not embarrassed about my job at all. Are you embarrassed about you're job? Now some in this industry are embarrassing, but that can go for any profession. Don't worry what they think. It's a job like any other or may I say unlike any other.

 

You are right on that one. I see a lot of those as well, but not all are in the trucking industry. Like the @@@hole in the suit giving the cashier a hard time because the card reader at the gas pump he used did not work and he had ro come inside to pay[poor fella lol], but you are right some of those guys you mention is the very reason I don't frequent the buffet. I saw a guy before come from the restroom, did not wash his hands and went straight to the buffet line and was fumbling with the rolls with his hands...Just plan nasty.

 

Not embarrassed one bit.
Disappointed with some of the things I see these days but not embarrassed.

PS...the girl you are trying to impress may one day find out what you really do for a living. Then she will add liars to her list of things She thinks truck drivers are.

Ditto on nasty looking drivers. And the ones that dump their piss wherever they please. A big whif of piss smell I encounter in loves, pilots etc
