Whats your cb and how is it specialized

    I used them 40+ years ago on 6 meters .... DRAKE made a transverter with 3 in parallel mine ran 200 watts but by todays standards would not be LEGAL for ham use ....

    Sweep tubes are almost never found in better amps .... The 811 and 572B
    have been made for 60+ years and are STILL in use How many new amps ( LEGAL ) are made with sweep tubes ???

    There is a reason beside cost .....

    i have these amps over 25 years.i have 2- 8 tubes 1- 4 tube,like i said for mobile great like to have henry but mobile can't.and if they break very rare i just take them to man who built them not far away 40 minutes

    In my truck right now I have a galaxy 44hp, astatic mic, good coax, and a browning flat coil antenna (I may change the antenna here soon, my wilson 2k broke and the browning was my spare)

    Current CB Radio is a stock Galaxy 919...Only things done to it was I turned up the Modulation to full and stuck a RF Limited Extreme 2018 Mic on it...

    ...then stuck it in behind my Davemade 2x4 and DM 16 pill....

    We can agree 0n a henry My last big amp was home brew push-pull 4cx250b on 144 mhz ( 600 watts SSB/CW ) and 3 4cx250b in parallel on 50 mhz ... ( 800 watts SSB/CW ) .....

    I don't own a CB amp and 4 watts into a small vertical works just fine for me .....

    Mobile 1: Galaxy DX94hp with a ST-65dx mic, wilson 1000 roofmount antenna
    Mobile 2: Magnum 257, wilson 500 magmount
    Mobile 3: She won't let me put one in there
    Base: Galaxy dx99v, Palomar 300a, IMAX 2000 antenna
