Offering right at a dollar a mile. This route has 35 stops, a 20 ft. enclosed trailer will get it done, there is about 215 miles of highway driving everyday, then much of the work is unloading paper and such at two universities and hospitals.

My truck will get about 15 MPG pulling a little trailer like that. I like the M--F and the light load behind me.

I'm just wondering is $1325 a week going to leave enough left over? 35 stops that will kill the MPG thing so i averaged 8 MPG for the day.

This should leave about $788 per week. Insurance that is needed is just $300,000 combo not sure how much that will be but not much.

So what this comes down to is do I want to unload 4000# 's of paper everyday plus whatever else they get. Now I'm delivering to a college so I get to mingle with young college girls everyday and this will not upset me at all. My wife said " your delivering to the university I'm think your going to kinda dig the view!" Man does she know me!

I said all this to ask is this about what you guys get for such work ......I thought it would be more?

Yes 35 stops is what they said! Yea, when he called again today I told him I'd have to pass. I'm doing some auto brokering right now, I haven't been driving for almost two months. But i have a 2009 Chevy that i was hot shotting and hauling cars with up til then. The frac company I was hot shotting for has moved almost all their work to New Mexico and N Dakota and the auto hauling is just not that great anymore.
I HAVE TO GET BACK TO DRIVING SOON THIS IS KILLING ME IVE GOT THREE YOUNG BOYS TO FEED!

Was thinking of getting into hot shot for a local oil field outfit. Was told the drivers are making 3 to 5 grand a week. Awful enticing, but sounds to good to be true. Is this ppossible?
