Yea, he set the low end of the variable dk at 2. So I should be plenty good.

You're good. Just make sure that it runs cool. And don't over drive it. It should last for you years.

Not to jump into someone elses thread but. I got a 29 ltd st that's puttin out 23 watt now and would like to use the kl 200 (its bigger than the 203???) With my 29. Will this work of should I do a 203 too?? I want to sound like a big radio or a 29 with the rfx75mod. And if I up grade to a connex or sim. Will it work with then? Thanks gurus for the help.

First the KL-200 puts out 100 watts on AM. And the KL-203 really puts out 120 watts AM. So they both are at the same output level. You need to put out 300 watts to be noticed in the real world. And that's only 1 S unit (pound to some). And a amp really doesn't make you sound like a BIG radio. It will make you get out a little further down the road. And with any KL amp you only need a less than 2 watt DK. Really all amps should be run with a low DK. Most people have the wrong idea about amps. Over driving radios and amps really sound like CRAP. And it will really shorten the life of your equipment. It would be better (cheaper) to just get a KL-203 and a radio than add a RFX-75. But it's your money spend it on any equipment you like. Most connexes may be LOUD but won't get out any further. For the money the KL-203 is much better than a Peak & Tune job.

I'd do both.......and I'd go with the amp as well.

If you drove that much wattage outta the rfx-75 you'd destroy that KL 203 dude.
