I have been with Holland for three months now and have no complaints. Great equipment , good miles, long runs. Nobody gives me any grief about anything. I get paid on time and the accounting is correct.
I get to take my dog with me and I get home when I want to go home, just need to let them know ahead of time and they make it happen.
I have been driving a long time, and this is a great job.

Oh, we have a 2010. Have the roll over and terrain alarm, but not the outside ones.
-
You all should move this to the "favorite" company section, or "motor carrier" and quit dredging up Holland in the bad company threads.

TurboTrucker1 Thanks this. -
Well, this thread was started by someone trashing the company, so I just thought I would put out my favorable opinion. Some people appreciate opposing opinions.

Nevermind, I'll stay out of it. -
i was informed in March my miles were down a bit. My answer to this, i run whats giving to me. I can't control what loads are sent to me.
The next thing i saw, miles jumped back to 2,900 3,100 a week, and are still there today.
Ruth is there for us drivers. She can see what miles we are running, and then she can let dispatcher know, this truck needs better miles asap. -
We got a warning for that second quarter. I had quite the response since at least 6 of the days we had no load, which would have made up the difference right there. Unless you refuse loads, or spend over a week at home every month, this should not be the blame of the driver. So, hopefully my response got placed in the file also.

The threads are in response to the poster who chooses where to begin it. If you don't like it, don't read it.skibum_63 Thanks this.

The thread is two years old. And obviously I liked your responses which is why I recommended moving the discussion to a different section of the forums. This is just a case of misunderstanding and discussion forum semantics. I wasn't telling you to do anything, it was just a recommendation. I'm sorry if you took it as a command.
In any event you can't tell me what to do either. I'll post what I want. If you don't like it, don't read it. And so on and so forth.TurboTrucker1 and superflow Thank this. -
I got the warning also. I was out for two weeks with a knee injury and they said to note it on the warning. They said they take everything into consideration. So, probably if you're an all around good driver it really doesn't mean much, as long as you're not low every quarter. Even without the knee injury I think I still would have been low. The first quarter was slow for me and I didn't take more than 4 days off a month. I wondering if they're averaging in team miles for the fleet average.
