My Local Trucking School Won't Allow Even a Short Ride Along! Not until I sign up!
That's BS!
I would not buy a car without driving it. Alot of things I would not commit to without being familiar with. "What is it like being inside a modern tractor going down the road?" is a necessary experience for me to commit to going for my CDL.
Are they afraid you won't like it but are now on the hook financially so too bad?
That's not gonna happen here.
Any ideas are appreciated.
Got a call from Roehl this morning and an app is in the works to do the whole thing with them (School and orientation and training), but not until I "get my feet wet" in a modern tractor.

just ask some one at a truck stop to give you a ride.

I am looking at Crete and Roehl. They run in my area. I am willing to pay for the fuel.
I will let you know how I make out.

If your serious about a ride along give me a call (phone number deleted for your own safety). I might be able to hook you up for a short trip.
