the blue one, I dont EVER pay attention to that grey piece of ####, most of the time it doesnt even go off and when it does, half the time its telling me the opposite of what the blue one is telling me
-
my blue one doesn't go off at all anymore, I can hardly see the lights on my gray one, and I swear it makes the different noises, but always lights up green. (it makes both the "pass" and "stop" sound, but always flashes green) But I have seen it flash red also, soooo...
All I can say is ALL signs say "FOLLOW IN CAB SIGNALS" and IF I ever get pulled over, I show him the flashing green lights. -
yes, but the lights on the grey one dont stay on. only the ones on the blue one stay on for 15 minutes... i know, cause i got pulled over.... he didnt even know what the grey one was!

The grey box, or NorPass, only works in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Kentucky. Regardless of what your blue PrePass says in those states, you follow your NorPass/Greenlight box.
-
i still dont trust it, if I dont see the blue one go off, I pull in lol

WTFE
My blue box no longer works AT ALL...
ONLY the grey one works, and in all states -
My gray box/greenlight is one of the new ones ordered for my new truck in January. It works in all western 11 states.

I really only care if the Prepass Plus works on the toll roads back east. The scales for weigh-in motion are tempermental at best. One scale you get pulled into, the next you don't.
One time I got the green light through about 3 different states. When I got into WV, the red light came on and I pulled onto a static scale. The weighmaster called out on the loud speaker, "2,000 lbs over on your tandems driver, pull over and slide 'em and roll back over." Oooops!
I slide them, rolled over the scale again and y el me dio la luz de verde. No ticket, no warning. Lucky me.

When they first sent the message out I was about to hit toll roads and was hoping it would work and it still did. I am not worried about having to pull into a weigh station if the prepass don't go off, not that much time outta my day
