if you cant get your a1c down the pills will stop working and you will be forced onto insulin.
get a local job and a nordic trac in front of your tv and eat low carb! -
I may be mistaken, but DOT says A1C over 7 is not controlled. Don't take that to the bank, but I seem to remember seeing that regulation.

just got done with my insulin exemption .....and dot wants your a1c between 7 ant 10 while on insulin ....so says my quarterly audit forms my endo has to compare my sugar logs to my driving logs to make sure i am between 100 and 400 while driving and since starting insulin usually stay between 85 and 150 so just a little tweaking and i am good

The DOT medical rules are MINIMUM, Any company can have stricter standards based on their company policies which are usually dictated by their insurance company,Plus it costs the company the same to pay for a 3 month card as a 2 year card So thats a bad investment for them. Get your diabetes under control for your own benefit

Question...if a person is an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic ..can they get a CDL...I've always heard that once you go insulin dependent your must forfeit your CDL, am I wrong?

Try adding magnesium into your diet. Go to your doctor and specify that you want a RED CELL MAGNESIUM TEST. Almost all Americans are magnesium deficient because magnesium has been removed from the foods that you eat. Magnesium deficiency disorders include: Type 2 diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, asthma, sore muscles after exercising, heart problems, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis. Go look it up on the internet. It is very hard to get magnesium in foods nowadays. The soils are improperly fertilized and factory processing strips magnesium out of the foods. The ailments that are listed above sound VERY familar, don't they? Did you know that nobody suffered from these ailments 100 years ago? The EKG was invented in 1920 and it took the inventor 6 months to find someone with heart disease. After 3 years, a total of 6 people were found who had heart disease. Doctors came from all over the world to study these 6 people because heart disease was so rare. After being studied, the 6 people were quarantined because it was feared that their heart disease might be contagious! The magnesium will prove to be difficult to replace in your body. Magnesium can induce "the runs" because it relieves constipation. If you poop less than 2 times a day, you have chronic constipation. You don't want to be driving a truck while having "the poops", so there is an alternative called "magnesium Oil". You simply squirt the magnesium oil onto your arm, rub it in and wash it off after 20 minutes. You can get magnesium oil over the internet or in a health food store. The magnesium oil will absorb into your body and your system will take it where it needs it. It bypasses your colon, so there is no fear of the poops. I lowered my blood pressure from 137 over 95 to 120 0ver 70 in a few months. It is supposed to be great for diabetes. Some people lose their diabetes completely. Others are much better able to manage their diabetes. This is not an overnight cure. It can take up to 3 years to replenish your body, as does any other vitamin and mineral. Start taking charge of your own health. Doctors aren't doing much for you, are they?

people were smaller, they did hard labor all day.they did not eat sugar all day. they had no medical care and died around 40 years old -
Everything is overly sweet. If a bucket of salt won't do the trick use a bucket of corn syrup!
