Antenna ground problems

    I have a cobra 29 ltd bt with a wilson silver load antenna. I have tested continuity on my connections all are what they should be. But my swr is in the red on all Chanel's and the antenna light comes on when mike is keyed. I had a cheap radio shack whip prior to the Wilson and it was fine, I switched to the Wilson and it will not seam to tune and my radio shack whip now dose the same thing help please

    I checked my coax with multimeter and it's fine and my mount has good ground also
