Bought a new/used FRTLNR 05. Love it! Engine sticker says 515 HP @ 1800 rpm. Is it a 515? I want to do an oil change before I take it out for the first time. Where do I find oil capacity listed? Looked in manuals that came with it and don't see it anywhere?

Don't quote me, but I believe the capacity is 36 quarts, not sure if that includes the oil filter. If its 515, your tach should go to 2,100. If its 455, then 1,800. This is usually how they are programmed.

Sticker on engine says, 515 HP @ 1800 RPM. Sticker behind removable dash-panel on passenger side says 455 HP. Kind of cryptic. Guess it doesn't matter too much as it's a single-axle that's hooked to a 3-car flatbed trailer. Hopefully will take the hills OK either way.

It's only 455 then. If you're max RPM is 1,800 its 455, 515 has 2,100 RPM's. Some times with cruise on your HP will be higher.

Just Google it. I can usually pdf manual on just about anything. Just try phrasing it in different ways.
