Questions arise, "how long have you had the license"??

you claim to be a student driver???

couldn't the school you went to help you find a job??

did they find you work, but you refused to go, like say OTR???

if so, then what can we do??

you have been out of school for a while too have you..??

well then you WILL have to go back and take a refresher course. The get to work where ever the school sends you!!!

Well, they have not assisted well, and no, I haven't refused any trucking job. Newly minted, as in I have the CDL, straight out of school. Not been out of school long. (Like a week.) As in, I would be considered a "student driver" by most companies.

No refresher, just got the license. Sorry for the confusion Gizmo.

My "employment history," or lack there of, is keeping me from getting jobs. Any places that are not tight on this requirement?

DHS REALLY! needs for you to compile your last 10 years so it can go on file for you, in their system.

Now. Shut up and comply. Your days of anonymity are over. You WILL be a part of The Machine. The Matrix. BTW, which pill will you choose?

    This from the news today:

    "just sayin"

Good luck with the job search.
I went with a local company hauling Bulk Cement outta school.

    *sarcasm, no insult intended*

I guess, the blue one, or may be the red...

Its just that several companies won't give you the time of day, if you have not been employed the last 6 months. I got the CDL to get a job. If I had a job, I would not be applying to your company, duh.

I faced the same thing coming outta school, on UE.

It's a bunch of BS. People on UE are sposed to be gettin back to work... HOW?
MANY employers won't hire you after a certain amount of time.

So an article on front page of one of the newspapers the other week.
It was saying how there are many states that are looking into proposing measures where such an act would be one of discrimination.

For a while (probably not now) companies would get money (or tax break) for hiring someone that has been unemployed for a certain amount of time.
