That's odd. Like Hawk said, it's not really an issue if you keep busy, but they don't withhold the info. IIRC, the Dale, Angie and Sheri can look it up, but Blanca and some of the others can't. Just ask what the revenue is and you should get a straight answer in under 30 seconds.
But really, give it a month. If you're concerned about your pay then, start paying more attention. Until then, just shoot and scoot.

Got the call from Tim today.....I gave notice to my current company today...so in 2 weeks looks like I get to go to sheldon..(btw how do they get ya there for orientation??)..
On another note...I had the most professional call from Tim today...earlier when he called me to tell me I am all good to go..he said that he didn't want to go ahead and tell me to give notice to my current employer just yet cause he didn't have a truck and it wouldn't be good business to hire someone without a truck...I was truly impressed...then about 2 hours later I guess they found me a truck...so he told me to go ahead and give notice...so I will see you guys in Sheldon..
Husker..what do they have you do for orientation?? just askin so I know what to look forward too...kinda nervous about road test...I have never driven a 13...only a 10... been driving stick all my life though...so it shouldn't be too hard...should it?? -
Hey Mic.
First grats. I have been so impressed with the way I have been treated by Van Wyk. Just absolutely floored.
Not sure exactly how far you live out, but for me I was about 130 miles so they sent a guy to come and pick me up in the company car.
As for orientation, I can only comment on day 1. but, it went very smooth and everyone I talked to was so genuine and nice to me. Mostly fill out paperwork and talk to a few very nice ladies.
I wouldn't sweat the 13 speed, it is very easy to learn how to drive. If you really want to be prepared I would suggest googling 13 speed shifting youtube. And you can see someone else drive one which might help you out. The guy that gave me the road test was very nice and laid back. So, we had a nice talk and he definitely put me at ease (always nervous on road test).
Lastly, good luck and I'm sure you will like the company. From my experience (less than a week) I have been just constantly amazed and treated with respect.Mic Thanks this. -
husker are you the ONLY one at orientation...if you are that is a switch...my current company (if yall click on my name I am pretty sure you can figure out who it is its a decent large company)...has 6 drivers in orientation at the home terminal (there are 7 terminals) alone every monday...not to mention starry eyed NOOBs that have never seen the inside of a truck going through there little school (which I will say isn't half bad attended it myself...but already had a CDL).....so I am impressed.....I live in Wisconsin...

Not the only one. There is another nice guy here. But, I wouldn't be suprised if you happened to be by yourself. We have roomed together to give the drivers passing through some privacy of their own room in the hotel.
They might send someone to come get you, no idea :/ -
Coming from Tomah, Mic, they could have any number of us swing up to grab you on the way across. Elsewise, if you transport yourself, save the receipts for the gas. They'll reimburse that.
Meanwhile, I get to go home early due to Memorial Day. Picked up bulk plastic pellets from Croydon, PA that are apparently a little overdue in Fargo (not our fault, for sure) but they don't work weekends and are all fired for beer and brats on Monday, so I get a veeeery comfortable 34 over the weekend.
Holidays. Whaddyagonnadoo? -
Finally got to my first drop in harmony, pa, i had a couple hundred dollars put on my card, but found out they dont take cash here.....huh? Craig's gonna hate me for waking him....
-
