CRST ?

    Hello what is the general consensous on DRST trucking company for a newbie just starting out, please advise?

    They are not a bad company as far as one of the larger ones go. If you like running with someone you do not know, you should be fine. Stay away from some of the others but they never did me wrong. You will always get someone who got burned by them,, but some would cry if their ice cream was cold.

    I would never go with them, simply because I do not want to team drive.

    I worked for a fleet owner who was leased onto CRST Malone... every now and then, I'd find myself in a CRST VanEx terminal... from what I've seen of the company and the people in those places, I'd have to be pretty desperate to work for CRST VanEx.

    CRST is a big company and they have six different divisions. All of the work independantly from each other. I'm with the Malone side and you have to have OTR experience to drive for them. The dry box side will take new drivers, but it is team driving.
