With 10yrs experience you seriously need me to explain to you EGR & block failure. I don't recall stating that lack of maintenance would not void a warranty. You can argue till your blue in the face, I'll believe what has been proven in a court of law, before I would believe what anyone "claims" would void a warranty. If you doubt what I'm saying about the MMWA look it up and educate yourself by reading actual court docs at PACER. Companies such as NAPA would not exist if they could blanket void a warranty. From Volvo OEM warranty: "Alterations that Adversely Effects stability or reliability", attorneys have argued & won the fact that certain modifications actually improved the reliability.

 

Can someone tell me if you can do the egr delete and remove egr cooler on a 2006 ism motor?

 

I had a 2006 isx, all you needed to do to get rid of the egr was unplug it. I don't know if its the same deal with the ism though.

 

I have it unplugged and i think the engine derates that's. Thanks
