I don't mean to preach, but if one is leasing and they need to grab cash from a trip that won't be in a settlement for a week - you're running way too close to the financial line. IMO, you have to separate your personal and business finances, and you just have to create a cash cushion to smooth out the money flow and be successful in the long run. Freight is good right now, but the yearly cycle is about to kick in after July 4th - it slows down a lot until summer produce starts. Company guys should take heed of this too - you're not insulated from the freight cycle by employment.
Back on topic... bad mojo floating around the PEElot in Milford CT this AM. Local driver with two cops at the stop light, and a 4-wheeler with the front end severely molested. And to top that off, one of our guys dragged a trailer across the right front of a Knight tractor... tow truck in attendance to get it off. Oi Vey! A DOT-reportable in the truckstop parking lot!
Rocky Hill CT at my 90.
PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

Well, made it to xt 40 on I-70 in Utah, did a walk around as always while fueling, found a puddle under the radaitor

I know you can do it. Just keep driving till the last 5 minutes.
Mojave Desert on I40. Fred is driving, doing a great job at night driving and not too shabby at backing. Should get to the drop lot in Stockton around 5 AM. We will see if he knows the procedures to drop a loaded trailer..... -
O ya. And I need more work done to my truck. Vorad still freaks out, I need to swing by Springfield to get a few things, and my windshield leaks. Goin to be another long trip across all time zones... Will be in the yard tomorrow to handle some business. Then onward. I really hope this gets repowered.
