I'm just grateful the DOT exam doesn't include the invasive finger-up-the-butt prostate exam!:biggrin_2555:

Does anyone know what exactly I have to do with my BP issues. The medical department at Prime advised me to have my BP checked by a Dr and that I need to have 3 good readings reported to them. Do I just fax this information to them once a week or get cleared by the Dr and then fax a cleared note to them. I would like to return on the 26 or 27 of June.

Call the main number at Prime and ask for the company doctor - he will explain what they need. (417) 866-0001 - sorry I don't have a toll-free number for that one. You might also ask about any medications for hypertension he would disallow.

Second, you need to get under a doctors care for hypertension ASAP. Get a prescription for blood pressure medication, and get on it. It should only take a couple of weeks to get it under control. Best bet is to get the prescription through a Walmart - they're easy to get a big rig into on the road.

    Good luck.

Most generic BP meds are approved -- very common and real cheap -- especially at Wal Mart. If you have to, go to a walk in clinic
and ask for BP meds. Walk in's usually run around $75 - 90 without insurance. If you have insurance, good for you! You need to do this IMMEDIATELY! Your health is at risk! It may take 7-10 days to stabilize your BP. I know, because I did the very same thing some months ago to get my Med Card to drive a bus.
