98 Volvo D12 will not rev past 1500 rpm

I mixed up all this stuff and no difference noticed!

I read this message from Impact On-line, but I found all things interchangeble. I was surprized.

Anyway 3.5 -4.5 bar is relatiwelly low pressure (not over 20 bar in HPI sustems), so no leak may happen with wrong pressure rating

 

What was wrong with the truck?

 

I have a similar problem with my truck, did you get yours fixed?

 

I had same type of problem with my Volvo S80. Changed fuel filter and problem was still there. Didn't rev over 1500 rpm and shutted itself off. But I found the plug over the turbo was covered with oil. Cleaned it and the problem was solved.

What ended up being the problem? My 2000 is doing the exact same thing.
