Do i have any legal rights after being attacked and threatenedto be killed by a team

Hi I just joined and need some legal help or advice. I was driving solo for a couple of months then team drove for an owner operator. This lasted for 10 days as the team driver started acting weird and talking some weird stuff. He began to attack me he hit punched and choked me while repeatedly saying I'm gonna kill you ##### also he kept saying I want you out of my truck and out of this truck. He started calling me names while I was driving and I did ask him to please stop with the name calling and the put Downs. I think he got mad because I asked him to stop and then he started yelling very loud. I couldn't tell what he was saying and I felt really uneasy at this point. Iwhen it was safe to do so I signaled and pulls off of the road and asked what he said. He got really mad and started saying he wanted me out of the truck and I told him its very late at night and dark and I'm not getting out of the truck. He called the company and spoke to someone telling them the same thing and apparently he didn't like the answer he got from them. I was about to start the truck and continue driving when he yelled at me over and over again I'm gonna kill you ##### and get the f out of the truck and get the f out of my truck.as far as I was told it was the owner operators truck. He then punched or hit me in my face and busted my lip open then I stood up he put his hands around my throat and pressing on the middle of my throat choking. Choking me while repeatedly saying I'm gonna kill you #####. I jabbed him with my elbow to try and get away and he pushed me against drivers seat and opened the door then he pushed me out of the tractor trailers drivers side door while traffic was zooming past on the road. I have much more to say but this is really bothering me I need some kind of help or legal advice as this crazy Guy tried to kill me. And just a few days ago at a terminal location the same day I got there this crazy Guy came walking in the door I saw him he saw me and he gave a scared look and tried to hide and then he went back out the door. A couple of hours later I was still in the lounge and looked up and this creep was at the windows in front of the lounge. After seeing him twice I went in the bathroom and contacted my family. A woman in the shower overheard me so I waited and eventually walked out with her and talked to someone she knew and a person in charge at the terminal. There is more to this but what legal rights do I have? If someone can let me know something and as far as I know this crazy Guy I'd still driving and he was not arrested or anything. I was told because I had no broken bones and wasn't dead it is a minor assault and I've basically been told I can't do much or nothing about this Guy trying to kill me. Attempted murder and I'm out out of work sitting at terminals for almost three weeks total no pay during this time and what happened is bothering me. Plaza if please if anyone can help or give me some helpful advice it I'd greatly appreciated and thank you very much in advance. I hope to hear from someone I also do have photos of the injuries this crazy Guy did to me so no one will think this I'd not true. All of this incident happened recently and I need some helpful advice. Yes I have done this and so far been told they don't handle things like this incident. I am baffled I don't know what to do and yes photos were taken of the injuries on me from this crazy Guy my lip neck where he was choking me etc. Thank you for your response. I really feel hurt physically and mentally from what this Guy did he was really trying to kill me. Also at the hospital the sheriffs came there because this creepy Guy sent me some creepy messages. When we began team driving exchanged numbers so while at a terminal or fuel station etc to contact when it was time to go. So this creep sent some weird crazy messages I told and showed the nurse and she called the sheriffs to come to the hospital. But I feel like I was a punching bag and there is nothing I can do about this? I'm trying to stay positive but when this pops up I trying not to think about it but it bothers me.
